Lowell, MA - A year ago this August, Design 4 Lowell was born through a series of events that led us on a path of self discovery as agents of change. Lowell needed more from its design community. Too many stores lay in design decay, often with 8x11 taped, handwritten signs that did little to promote Lowell's beauty and likability. The vision to transform a city through strategic design led us to dream about a one stop marketing shop, complete with local creative professionals, print shops, resources, and awesome creative projects, like the Best of Lowell Awards. Less than a year later, a network has risen, web development finally took off, and thousands of dollars have been attained for local designers.
